Tumble polished Dryhead Agate . Dryhead agate is found in southern Montana on the west side of Yellowtail Reservoir. Dryheads are a cold water agate within the Permian age Phosphoria formation. The site has been closed for many years. I collected the rough when I was a teenager. Priced at $60 a pound. Select pieces are sold by the piece.
