Polished Slabs
Polished pieces from the Bottom Capping zone that are suitable for architectural use in kitchen backsplashes and accent pieces.
A 26 x 30 inch polished slab, .75 inches thick. $400
A very nice 18.5 inch Diplomystus on a 23.5 x 52 x 1.5 inch slab that has 3 natural edges and one polished edge. This is a very heavy slab. This piece would make a very nice table. $ 4500
An 18 inch Diplomystus and a 13 inch Mioplosus on a 23 x 27 inch slab $ 2400
The rock from the "bottom capping " polish nicely and make excellent backsplashes for kitchens and baths.
I have 12 inch tiles and larger slabs that can be cut to fit your kitchen.
Also available are tile and slabs featuring fish which have not been polished.
I have 4 layers I polish. Some are mottled tan and some are grey.
All polished slabs have been treated with a water and stain repellant.
Polished slabs are priced by the piece . The average price is $95 a square foot.
