Multiple Fish Plates

Multiple fish plates represent a unique events when  schools of fish were killed and fossilized . Knightia are found most often in mortality layers. Modern day relatives, the alewife are killed by warm water temperatures. We dig three different mortality layers. These plates are from the prettiest layer.

24 Knightia and an 8 inch Phareodus on a 26 x36 inch slab,

.66 inches thick.  $1100

Plate with 23 Knightia and a Mioplosus. This is 20 x 33 x 1  inch $700. All large slabs require a wood  crate. Shipping is not included in the price.

Plate of 17 Knightia and Diplomystus with a  9 inch Phareodus on a plate from the Puff Layer. Some of these fish are good, some not so good. There is restoration on most of the fish. This plate measures about 33 x 35 x 1 inch. $625

I have multiple fish plates from other layers as well.  Multiple fish from the puff layer are $20 each. Multiple  fish in the split layer are $12 each.
